SANTA’S HOLIDAY SAFETY TIPS
1. Pick your gifts with everyone’s age in mind: make sure that the gift is appropriate and safe for everyone in the household of the recipient. Little ones always seem to find the smallest pieces of other peoples’ toys.
2. Never let live geese stay in the bathroom.
3. Check your holiday lights carefully for worn wires and connections before putting them up. A few minutes checking can save years of heartache.
4. Keep the reindeer’s gifts hidden behind locked doors. They cannot stop themselves from making a mess with wrapping paper, and this is a fire hazard.
5. Don’t leave candles burning when you leave the room. Little hands, paws and time all make this a dangerous proposition.
6. Absolutely no sleigh flying in the bedroom!
7. Make sure you pick up all the plastic wrapping and dispose of it properly. Wrappings can be a suffocation hazard.
8. Check for elves before sweeping up the empty boxes: they love to hide inside the bigger ones.
9. Make sure no loose cords are around the tree: these are a tripping hazard.
10. Keep The Grinch in his place: Be sure to love everyone in your family: it’s the safest and best part of every holiday.
